Very nice and tidy room! The staff is adorable and will do everything to help you during your stay. It’s the perfect place to rest and discover the city, near the touristic places and also very calm.

Me and Wife spent hours searching for a good clean place to stay and this time we did not want to stay at 5 Star hotel. We got frustrated looking at numerous reviews. Then we narrowed down to Oceanside after we read a review asking people to stop searching. I am so so happy with the room. I booked the room 207 and at arrival i was apprehensive but then after entering the room. I was so assured by seeing the White Clean Sheets (Stain Free) and very very Clean Bathroom and very good slope in the bathing area. I got all that i was looking for: - White crisp Bedsheet - Crisp Pillow Cover And Spotless Blanket Wonderful AC and plenty of Hot Water. For food take a 2 min walk to reach some nice restaurants and again a 3-4 min walk to beach and on return a tap to clean sand off your body and clothes. The stairs may be a concern for senior citizens. They don't serve food but we had planned to eat outside. The owner Jaymesh (?) Was available and very helpful. The young man on front desk "Dinesh" is a polite and efficient and the cleaning ladies are sweet. Well spoken . Cons: - No Intercom( that's ok)

I spent a total of 4 nights in Oceanside, a modern very well appointed/maintained budget hotel, well located for the ‘sights’ , the beach and lots of restaurants . My room was spotlessly clean with a great bathroom/shower and blissfully hot water available at all times. Perhaps the best thing though is the staff/management. Yuvanesh is a delightful owner and host who provided a warm welcome and lots of useful information and help in booking onward travel etc. I highly recommend Oceanside.

Spent 1 night at Oceanside Hotel, which was a great experience. Excellent location and cleanliness for a fair price. The host and staff are providing a 5 ***** service, very attentive to each request and particularly helpful to plan and give more details about the activities of the region. Would warmly recommend this establishment to discover Mahabalipuram in the best settings.

This budget hotel turned out to much more than I was expecting. The rooms were really well kept, super neat and clean. Bathrooms were sparkling, and so was everything else in the room. We booked this at last minute, just before heading to Chennai from Delhi, without checking much about the hotel but found this hidden gem. Though it is just a few meters from the beach, the rooms do not offer a beach view. The staff is very friendly, especially the hotel manager who gave us a lot of helpful tips on how to go about sightseeing in Mahabalipuram , which routes to follow, where to eat/drink, which beaches to visit etc. We got a very warm welcome along with a duly fulfilled request of an early check in, without any hassle. We were even upgraded to a better room. It was all done seamlessly and we really felt welcome here. Though the hotel doesn't have an in-house restaurant but the street is full of nice eateries and cafes, just a 1 min walk from the hotel.
